The Freeholder Board’s Office of Veterans Affairs is going on the road to provide greater access to services. Veterans and their families are invited to American Legion Post 372, 1532 Martin Avenue in Cherry Hill on Wednesday, August 29 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Representatives from federal, state and county government will join numerous local Veterans services organizations to assist members of the Armed Forces. Hotdogs and soda will be served.

Red Cross Opens Evacuation Centers

Miami, FL (August 25, 2012) – At the request of local emergency management officials, the American Red Cross will open evacuation centers in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. The Miami-Dade and Broward Offices of Emergency Management may open further centers, as required by hurricane conditions.

New University Center at GCC Will Be Ready for Incoming Students

 

(Sewell, NJ) – A ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new University Center on the campus Gloucester County College was held today. The 30,000 square foot facility located on the main campus holds 18 ‘smart’ classrooms to meet the demands of both the expanding GCC enrollment and the four-year universities that offer collegiate BA and MAS, MSN programs on site.
