Legal Notice: Ordinance to purchase Chatham Square Apts. and Gloucester Terrace Apts.

Note: This was discovered (March 17,2009) in a Google search for Chatham Square. The date the ordinance was passed is not known however the year was 2008. What is interesting is the price of the apartments was $4.25 million, not $4 million which is the figure the administration gave us.

Bellmawr: Large Crowd Attends Monroe Fundraiser

By Chris Concannon

NEWS Correspondent

Some 300 to 400 people jammed the entire downstairs at Bellmawr Fire and Rescue #1 during the Kathleen Monroe Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser recently.

Originally scheduled to be held in the Fire Department’s Mini Hall, the ever-swelling crowd soon overtook the room’s 100-person maximum capacity, spilling into the Members’ Lounge.

Co-organizer and husband Brian Monroe, a Bellmawr Firefighter and Camden County Park Police Officer, repeated his disbelief in the sheer number of friends, family and strangers, who poured into the building throughout the four-hour event.
