BROOKLAWN, NJ (CNBNews)This is our 10th year for Stuff a Scarecrow! Let’s make it our best one yet! This is an open house at the Brooklawn Community Center and you can come anytime between the hours of 5pm to 8pm to decorate your scarecrow. If you would like to prepay and take your scarecrow with you to keep at your house then that is an option too! Please click the link below and fill out the Google form so we know you are coming and can be prepared. Please bring whatever you will be dressing your scarecrow in. We do have some clothes and accessories but it’s first come first serve for them. We will have a snack stand and hot dogs available for sale as well. Please come out and support our Alice Costello 8th grade class!

Brooklawn Fall Festival, This Saturday

Brooklawn, NJ (Sept. 29, 2026)–The Brooklawn Fall Festival will be held this Saturday, October 3, from 12 noon to 5 PM at the Brooklawn Waterfront. Live bands, food trucks, a beer garden, craft vendors, activities for the kids, Pony rides and community groups will be there.

You are invited to join the fun, socialize with your neighbors and friends. Come out and enjoy the Party. Guarantee you wont regret it.

Manayunk’s Out & About Festival Features Record-Breaking Drag Acts + Rocky Horror

Philadelphia (Manayunk) PA – Manayunk Development Corporation announces Out & About in MNYK to Main Street on Saturday, October 3, 2026. In honor of National Coming Out Day, this event will feature LGBTQ+ performers, organizations, shows and entertainment to promote Manayunk as a safe place that welcomes everyone. Activities and performances will include a drag story time, open-air drag show, karaoke dance party and Rocky Horror Picture Show Live Shadowcast by the Transylvanian Nipple Productions. Partners for this year include Brittany Lynn and Philly Drag Mafia, TNP Productions and DJ Da Boo Boo. Additionally, Philadelphia Runner presents Out and About Queer Run (Saturday morning) to kick-off this annual celebration. Event Take Over Fishtown for Fall Festival and Oktoberfest Season
