The Holy Cross field hockey team accomplished something on Friday afternoon no other team has done this season: Beat Gloucester. The Lancers got the 1-0 upset victory over host Gloucester, as the only shot they took in the second half found its way into the goal cage in a Central Jersey Group 1 semifinal.Marissa DePativo took a feed from Kathleen Walsh and tipped it into the left corner of the goal cage with 17:09 left in the game and the lone score held up as fourth-seeded Holy Cross earned the victory over top-seeded Gloucester, which ends the season at 18-1-1.
