Aronimink was named home for the event in 2010 and 2011, as preparations are underway for the 2011 U.S. Open at its traditional home at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, MD. This is the first time since the 2002 SEI Classic that a Tour event has been held in the area.

The agreement includes:

• A zero raise year in 2010, followed by a 2.9 percent increase in 2011 and 2.9 percent in 2012
• Contribution for health insurance by all employees
• Higher doctor and prescription co-pays
• Acceptance of a \”mirror clause\” that requires contribution for health insurance for retirees
• A cap on sick time sell back
• The elimination of step increases for new employees by restructuring their salary scale
• A measure of job security for the correction officers.

Since the membership has been working without a contract for the past four years the new contract also includes a total pay raise for those years of 14.3 percent.

Ewing, NJ… The College of New Jersey football team announced its 10-game regular season schedule for the 2010 football season.

The Lions open the season with a Friday night game hosting New Jersey Athletic Conference foe William Paterson University at Lions’ Stadium on Friday, September 3 at 7 p.m. Following a bye week, TCNJ travels to non-conference opponent Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham to play another Friday evening match-up at 7 p.m. in Madison, NJ.

The Lions visit SUNY-Brockport the following week before returning to host Homecoming Day on Saturday, October 2 when they line up against SUNY-Cortland. The season culminates with TCNJ hosting a pair of rivals in Kean University (Saturday, October 6) and Rowan University (Saturday, October 13).

The Lions are coming off a 4-6 record in 2009 and will look to return to the NCAA Championships after a two-hear hiatus. Head coach Eric Hamilton, who returns for his 34^th season at the helm, recently named senior defensive back Matthew Kreider (Delran, NJ/Delran) and senior offensive lineman Joseph Mecca, Jr. (Monmouth, Jct./South Brunswick) captains for the 2010 season.

Several of the Third Grade students from Ethel M. Burke School read their own statements as to why they took part in the children’s cancer fundraiser.

President Jamie Casey then presented the May Board Award to those students who took part, and lauded teachers Ms. De Vault and Ms. Heller, who organized the event.

The Board’s new combined meeting format began at 6 p.m. with the workshop portion, which flowed right into the regular meeting at about 7:30 p.m.

Although some were not present, presentations were made to former members Ron Henry and Mary Di Mattesa for their years of service, as well as retiring teachers Ms. Bein, Mrs. Keyek, and Mr. Skibbe.

Then, Superintendent Annette Castiglione presented the following May Staff Awards: Bell Oaks, Daria Moore; Bellmawr Park, Kay De Angelis; Ethel M. Burke, Nicole Warrington.

Moore will be traveling to Japan to teach in the fall.

Co-valedictorians Bridget Williams and Kelsey McIntyre lead the procession of graduates in the Class of 2010 at commencement ceremonies on May 27th. Msgr. James Curran, pastor of Saint Mary\’s Parish in Gloucester City, offered the Baccalaureate Mass at the Church of Saint Agnes in Blackwood. Former Principal Rev. Kenneth Johnston delivered the homily. Executive Director of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Camden, Nicholas Regina, conferred diplomas to the 183 graduates.
