The contract for gasoline and diesel fuel for Borough vehicles was awarded to Pedroni Fuel Company. The contract for auto parts went to NAPA Auto Parts.
Commissioner Suzanne Gaglianone reported that the Borough \”came into the 21st century\” recently with the installation of a new computer system. Gaglianone said the new software would make record keeping and auditing in the Borough offices easier and more efficient.
Police Chief Edward Dobleman announced that the police department would be taking over the DARE program in the Borough schools. He said that monies received as the result of the Borough department’s participation in a large bust will help to get the program up and running. In the past, the Camden County Sheriff’s Department has overseen DARE in Borough Schools.
