Most New Jersey deer hunting has ended, but new plans to cull deer have been approved in towns where hunting isn\’t allowed. The deer huggers keep losing, more proof that deer are no longer the sacred cows bears have become.
The case of the antihunter who spread human urine near a trap set for a bear in Vernon Township last fall and ran from conservation officers is scheduled for Vernon Court Tuesday afternoon. He was fined there last Aug. 30 for harassing hunters after being charged with disorderly conduct and making terroristic threats.
