Gloucester City Council honored longtime Board of Health Member Michael Hainsworth for his years of service to the City during last week\’s meeting.
\”I am really honored, and did appreciate the opportunity. I learned a lot,\” Hainsworth said after receiving a proclamation from Mayor Bill James.
It read: \”Whereas Mr. Hainsworth served as a member of the Board of Health beginning in 1992, and becoming Vice President in 1993; and
\”Whereas Mr. Hainsworth throughout his term always kept the best interest of the citizens at the forefront of his thoughts when deciding on all Board of Health matters. His help and knowledge have been a value to our citizens and our City.\”
