In Camden County, Comcast-Spectacor President Peter Luukko asked the county Improvement Authority to identify potential sites for a new arena. The authority found three: acreage along Route 42 in Bellmawr, the former National Amusement cinema site on the White Horse Pike in Atco, and Garden State Pavilions in Cherry Hill. Bellmawr Mayor Frank Filipek said the arena talks in his town are \”dead.\” Prospects in Atco and Cherry Hill fell apart, too.
