Mount Ephraim Appoints 2 Officers / Hires Part-Time Clerk

The Mount Ephraim Board of Commissioners appointed Anthony Jiles and Steve Palma as Special Police Officers for the borough effective March 6, 2009. The MEPD had vacancies that they both were qualified to fill.

The borough has hired Terry Shannon, who is a Registered Municipal Clerk who is currently appointed to the borough of Barrington and is available to provide the needed services. The Shared Service agreement is on a part-time basis for the period from March 16 through December 21, 2009 for a total cost of $15,466, subject to adjustments as provided during the term of agreement, pursuant to a shared services agreement.

Marie Darlington who previously was Acting Borough Clerk for the past several months will now fill the position of Deputy Borough Clerk to replace Ethel Hartman.

Every year the NJ DEP Division of Fish and Wildlife introduces fishing to thousands of new anglers at the Pequest Trout Hatchery and Natural Resource Education Center. It is only through the efforts of our fishing education volunteers that we can accomplish this great task.
