Dear Bill and Readers of Clearysnotebook:
The mission of the committee is to help reduce the number of Feral Cats that run wild in the City and pose a health nuisance to the residents of Gloucester City. Last year the committee TNR over 140 cats and placed 17 kittens in homes.

There are many times when we trap that we catch kittens that are young enough to be socialised and put up for adoption. The committee and volunteers care for the kittens and get then spayed/neutered. The committee has an agreement with the Camden County Animal shelter where we take the cats to be spayed/neutered at a low cost.
