Holy Family University Women’s Soccer Cruises to 8-0 Win Over Goldey-Beacom
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Holy Family University women’s soccer team recorded a season best
eight goals in an 8-0 win over visiting Goldey-Beacom College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest on Tuesday at Tiger Field.
Holy Family moves its overall record to 8-6-1 and its CACC mark to 6-2-1. Goldey-Beacom is now 2-10-0 overall and 1-6-0 in conference play.
Midfielder Melissa Moratti (sr. Fairless Hills, Pa./Conwell-Egan) led the Tigers with a pair of second half goals. Back Lindsay Fisher (so. Oakford, Pa./Archbishop Wood) contributed a goal and two assists. Forward Kelsey Marvill (jr. Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) and midfielder Katie Maguire (fr. Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert’s) added a goal and an assist. Midfielders Amanda Trabosh (so. Washington Twp., N.J./Gloucester Catholic) and Ashley Antczak (sr. Westville, N.J./West Deptford) each recorded two assists. Midfielders Melissa Benson (fr. Rockledge, Pa./Little Flower) and Lauren Sullivan (jr. Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower) scored a goal. Benson’s goal was the game-winning goal. Forward Dawn Curry (so. Pennsville, N.J./Pennsville) and midfielder Meghan McCusker (sr. Sewell, N.J./Gloucester Catholic) tallied an assist.
