Gloucester City Republican Party Chairman and 5th District GOP Assembly Candidate Wil Levins has been appointed by Gov. Chris Christie to the Gloucester City Housing Authority. Levins replaces Commissioner Charlie Kain. A resolution confirming the appointment is scheduled to be approved at tonight\’s work session meeting of Gloucester City Mayor and Council.
Levins released the following statement,
\”I am very honored to have been extended the confidence of our Governor to be a commissioner for the Gloucester City Housing Authority. I am proud to be given this opportunity to assist the Board of the GCHA in their continued efforts to provide affordable housing to our City\’s residents in need. I look forward to working with my fellow commissioners and contributing to their honorable mission.
I also want to thank Commissioner Charlie Kain, Former Governor Corzine\’s appointee to the Board, for all of his hard work and dedication to the GCHA. Because of the commitment of outstanding individuals like Charlie, Gloucester City is a better community.\”
