On August 20, 2011. Age 64. Of Williamstown. Formerly of Gloucester City. Beloved and cherished son of the late Stephen P. Rauchut and the late Lillian Voll (nee Gillespie). Beloved brother of Elsie Perkins (Rob), James Rauchut (Linda) and Rick Rauchut (Joann). Also survived by his special aunt Mary Wilkie as well as many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is amending its regulations and policies concerning service guide dogs for veterans and many American Legion members have contacted The American Legion Headquarters in Washington, DC. Below is a list of comments posted on Federal Register Volume 76, Number 116: FR Doc No: 2011-14933.
The American Legion National Headquarters has received numerous calls and correspondence with concerns with VA\’s proposed rule for 38 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) Part 17. These comments are submitted in response to \”RIN 2099-AN51-Service Dogs.\”

The Final Touches on the Brooklawn 9-11 Memorial; Highlights of Gloucester City Council Caucus Meeting
(cnbnews photo)Workers give the final touch to the Brooklawn 9-11 Monument/Memorial, South Hannevig and Maude Avenues. Dedication ceremonies will be held next month on September 11. Time to be announced.
BROOKLAWN 9-11 Memorial/Monument- A small crowd gathered at the Brooklawn 9-11 Memorial, South Hannevig and Maude Avenues on Wednesday, August 17th to witness the final touches on the memorial/monument. Present too were Brooklawn Police Chief Fran McKinney, Brooklawn Police Captain Steve Saymon and government representatives. The monument features a 8,438 lb steel beam from the World Trade Center rising 9’11\” flanked on both sides by two stone columns holding the artifacts from the other two crash sites. Very few 9-11 memorial sites include artifacts from all 3 disasters.
The beam Brooklawn is using was a gift from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
