Dale Earnhardt Jr., driver of the National Guard car in NASCAR\’s Sprint Cup Series, is scheduled to attend The American Legion Baseball World Series in Shelby, N.C., on Aug. 15. The No. 88 driver, one of the most recognizable figures in professional sports, will be at Shelby\’s Keeter Stadium from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., signing autographs and greeting fans.
