MALVERN, Pa. – La Salle rising junior Mike Johnson (Ambler, Pa. / Hatboro-Horsham) shot a 68-73=141 (-1) on Wednesday at Applebrook and Waynesborough Country Clubs to qualify for the US Amateur Championship, which will be contested August 13-19 at Cherry Hills Country Club in Colorado. Johnson finished fifth in the 143-player field and the top six players advanced.

South Carolina Red Cross Volunteer Assists Colorado Wildfires Victims

Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina resident, Robin McRae, a mental health volunteer with the Charleston, SC Regional Chapter of the American Red Cross, has just returned home after spending the past two weeks in the Ft. Collins, Colorado area assisting victims of the wildfires. On some days, she worked at a fixed service delivery site and on others, she joined an outreach team made up of a Red Cross nurse, a local mental health provider, a case worker, and an EMT.
