Fall, winter athletes reel in NJAC honors | cnbnews



Ewing, NJ… The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced five student-athletes from The College of New Jersey received honors for their performances during the week ending November 11, 2012.

Senior Allison Foy (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert), a two-time All-NJAC First Team selection, was named NJAC Defensive Player of the Week. Foy anchored a Lions’ defense that shut out City College of New York in the opening round of the NCAA championship tournament. TCNJ also held Massachusetts Institute of Technology scoreless through 104 minutes of play in the second round of the tourney.
