(cnbnews.net)The number of registered voters eligible to vote in Gloucester City is 6,920. Of that amount 3,782 people voted in Tuesday\’s General Election or about 54 percent. Below is a breakdown by Ward.

(cnbnews.net)The unofficial election returns show that Gloucester City Council will remain in control of the Democrats. The only challenge they faced was in the Third Ward from two Republican candidates, Lisa Lopez and Anthony Wojtkowiak.
Lopez who was running for the three year full term in that ward received 269 votes compared to Democrat newcomer Nancy Randolph Baus who received 704 votes. Wojtkowiak who was running for the unexpired term got 281 votes compared to the incumbent Lynn Bucher 695 votes.
