TCNJ football shares learning experience with SONJ athletes

Ewing, NJ … The College of New Jersey football program continued to enjoy its relationship with the Special Olympics New Jersey as they hosted a clinic and flag football game at their facility at TD Sports Field in Lawrenceville.

It marks the third straight year that the Lions’ football team and staff took the short ride to the SONJ campus to spend an action-filled evening with a large group of excited and impressionable athletes. Led by head coach Eric Hamilton, the players and coaches held an interactive drill session that concentrated both the offensive and defensive sides of the game. TCNJ ran the workouts with the same organization and intensity as they do at their home practices in Lions’ Stadium.
