PHILADELPHIA PA–Greenwich Terminals LLC, operators of the Packer Avenue Marine Terminal in the Port of Philadelphia, recently purchased two new Hyster Reach Stackers. Greenwich Terminals, one of the most productive stevedoring and terminal operators in the world, prides itself on getting cargo on and off the facility as quick as possible. \”These new machines will increase yard productivity and truck loading times inside the gates. We are constantly striving to improve truck turn times and improve the customer experience coming through the terminal. We have seen a huge uptick in reefer cargo over the last few months and see a continuing need to service these specialized customers with more speed, said David Whene, President of Greenwich Terminals. Greenwich Terminals now has 12 Reach Stackers and 12 standard top picks in its arsenal.
