PHILADELPHIA PA (August 1, 2013)–The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the armed robbery today of the Sovereign Bank branch located at 9200 Roosevelt Boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., the subject entered the bank. He displayed a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from a teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area of the bank on foot.
