WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP NJ JUNE 8, 2015–A 36-year-old woman was killed in a head-on collision between two trucks on Fries Mill Road near Hurffville-Cross Keys Road in Washington Township Monday afternoon (6/8).
Lizzette Nazario, of Blackwood NJ, a passenger in a southbound 2006 Chevrolet van, was pronounced dead at the scene about 1:14 p.m. The van, owned by Elite Transportation, of Pennsauken, was struck head-on when a 2015 Dodge Ram pickup truck northbound on Fries Mill Road crossed into the opposite lane. The Dodge is owned by VFI Fabricators, of Williamstown NJ.
Tbe driver of the Dodge, Alfred Fabrico Jr. , age 47, of Williamstown, and the driver of the Chevrolet, Wilson Siner III, age 29, of Haddon Township, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Kennedy University Hospital, Washington Township, for treatment.
Fabrico, Siner and Nazario remained in their vehicles during the collision. Fries Mill Road was closed and traffic detoured for about four hours following the crash.
An autopsy is to be conducted on Nazario on Tuesday (6/9) by the Gloucester County Medical Examiner.
The collision is being investigated by the Gloucester County Prosecutor\’s Office and the Washington Township Police Department.
