HHS-supported study tests falls intervention program

Families and physicians have a new tool in the fight against falls- a comprehensive prevention program developed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that reduces both falls and resulting use of long-term care such as nursing homes.

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP NJ JUNE 8, 2015–A 36-year-old woman was killed in a head-on collision between two trucks on Fries Mill Road near Hurffville-Cross Keys Road in Washington Township Monday afternoon (6/8).

Millburn, NJ – NEPTUNE – Physicians in Monmouth County will have the opportunity to learn more about the prescription drug and heroin abuse epidemic in New Jersey and develop solutions to stem this public health crisis, at the Do No Harm Symposium, on June 10, 2015 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

On June 7, 2015. Age 90. Of Lumberton. (nee Perillie). Wife of the late Lieutenant Colonel, Henry W. Haverkoch, U.S. Army. Survived by her son Patrick Haverkoch.

Born in Bridgeport, Conn. to the late Carmine Perillie and the late Lucia Tedesco Perillie. Marie received a nursing degree and went on to become a licensed physical therapist working in Bridgeport.

Interment with her late husband in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA will be held at a later date.
