APPEALS COURT: Medical Absence from Trial No Excuse for a Mistrial

WOODBURY NJ–Delance J. Samuels (DOB 6/15/86), of Paulsboro, was not entitled to a mistrial or a new trial because he was taken from the courthouse on a stretcher for a medical problem and missed the end of his drug possession and distribution trial, an appeals court ruled today.
