Few things are as precious to the stereotypical upper-middle-class suburbanite as their pristine green front lawns.
And those stereotypes have been proven true in Montgomery County, Maryland, where homeowners are in a tizzy over a proposal that would ban many common lawn treatments and pesticides like the well-known Scott’s Miracle Grow and Monsanto’s Round-Up.
