NJDOT Commissioner Fox addresses building and construction group

(Trenton) – New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) Commissioner Jamie Fox addressed the NJ State Building & Construction Trades Council at their 111^th Annual Convention. Commissioner Fox discussed the importance of a fully funded Transportation Trust Fund (TTF) and the need for a long term funding solution.

\”In terms of the building and construction industry, the necessity of a healthy TTF is clear,\” Fox said. \”If we don’t have money we can’t build, and if we can’t build, we can’t give your employees the opportunity to work. With over $2.4 billion worth of construction on the street, the impact of a bankrupt TTF would be felt across the board.
