Obituary for Mrs. Nicolina Balsama

Nicolina Balsama, (née Amato) age 90, of Gloucester Twp., NJ formerly from South Philly, was reunited with her husband John in Heaven on August 23, 2015.

Legacy
Nicolina was born and raised in S. Philly by her loving Italian parents, Raffael and Vittoria Amato. She worked many years as a seamstress, picking fresh food for NJ farmers, and dedicated a career to the Phila. Board of Education. Her truest pleasure was to be surrounded by her loving family and preparing delicious meals for them all to enjoy.

Beloved wife of 64 years to the late John F.; Devoted mother of Kathleen A. McGuinness (John), John N. Balsama (Kathy), and the late Victoria Balsama; Treasured grandmother of Nicole Lasecki (Adam), Kimberly McGuinness (Jack Leary), Kelly McGuinness, Ashley Meadows (Anthony), Christopher, and the late Kevin John Archer; Adored great grandmother of Adam Jr., Nicolina V., Domenic, Annabella, and Emma; Dear sister to Rosie Tropiano (Domenic), and the late Mary, Katie, and Joseph; Cherished aunt to many.

Nurses at Shore Medical Center Authorize Strike by Overwhelming Margin
