Dorothy M. Bills (nee Davis), on August 17, 2015, of Runnemede. Age 92. Beloved wife of the late Harry. Devoted mother of Wallace Bills (Shelly), Debbie Rusin (James) and Andrea Riggs (Wayne). Loving grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 14. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bills was the last surviving of six children. She sang in choirs since the age of six. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church where she served over the years as Sunday School Teacher, Youth Group Counselor and taught Release Time School and Vacation Bible School. Mrs. Bills was also past president of the Womens Society and served as Missionary Chairman and Financial Secretary for many years on Official Board. Over the years, Mrs. Bills dedicated her life to visiting the elderly and shut-ins. She was Poet Laureate of Pitman.
There will be a viewing from 10 to 11am Friday morning at Chews United Methodist Church, 319 Black Horse Pike, Glendora, NJ 08029. Funeral Service 11am in church. Interment Oakland Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA. Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Mrs. Bills’ memory to Chews United Methodist Church at the above address.
