GTPD Officers Save Overdose Victim With Narcan Over Labor Day Weekend GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP NJ–On September 6, 2015 at approximately 2:11 PM, the Gloucester Township Police Department (GTPD)were dispatched to North Black Horse Pike in Blackwood for report of a male behind the home found unconscious and foaming at the mouth. Officers arrived and assessed the 19 year old male, a resident of Clayton visiting Gloucester Township for a weekend party, who exhibited shallow breathing and pulse rate consistent with an opiate overdose. Naloxone was administered by the officers, causing him to recover from his opioid overdose, as the subject regained normal respiration and consciousness.
