Earlier this summer Nevada made national headlines by introducing its Education Savings Account (ESA) plan. The plan allows nearly every parent to send the money the state would normally spend on their child’s public education to whichever learning opportunity they see fit: online classes, private tutors, private schools… A universal school voucher program, if you will.
