FBI Philadelphia Armored Truck Robberies and Attempted Robbery Arrests

FBI Philadelphia Special Agent in Charge Wayne A. Jacobs announced that Dante Shackleford, 26, has been arrested and charged by indictment in connection with three armored truck robberies or attempted robberies that occurred in July and August and another attempted armored truck robbery in October. Mujahid Davis, 24, was also arrested and charged in the October attempted armored truck robbery.

“The swift arrests in this case are a testament to the strength of the partnerships that define the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force,” said Jacobs. “I commend the women and men of this task force for their determination and diligence in the pursuit of public safety. Their work exemplifies our unwavering commitment to protecting our community from violent crime.”

Happening Tonight! Gloucester Township Police Department’s Change Of Command Ceremony

Please join the Gloucester Township Police Department for our Change Of Command Ceremony as we swear in Anthony Minosse as Chief Of Police, John Stollsteimer III as Deputy Chief Of Police, as well as two Captains, two Lieutenants, and two Sergeants.

The ceremony will held at Timber Creek Regional High School’s Auditorium, 501 Jarvis Road, Sicklerville, NJ 08081 on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 7 PM. The public and news media are welcome to attend.

Our school year continues to thrive with many exciting events and moments that showcase the vibrant spirit of our GCHS family. Our fall sports teams are gearing up for the playoffs, and the recent Homecoming celebration in the gym had our student body energized, dancing, and celebrating together. Additionally, our Open House was a fantastic success, welcoming over 140 families and highlighting the positive energy that fills our hallways.      Looking ahead, we are excited to invite you to our next 100th Centennial Celebration event—the Fall Social on November 8th at the school. Several classes are planning to use this occasion as a mini reunion, providing a wonderful opportunity for alumni to return, reconnect, and see all the recent upgrades to our campus. We encourage you to purchase your tickets early and join us for this special evening.      Furthermore, our Annual Alumni Communion Breakfast will be held on November 23rd in honor of Gloucester Catholic’s 100th Anniversary. Bishop Joseph  Williams will be the main celebrant at the Mass, which will take place at St. Mary’s Church at 9:30 a.m., followed by a breakfast at the school. 33 Alleged Members of Violent Kensington Drug Trafficking Organization Charged in 41-Count Indictment

PHILADELPHIA – United States Attorney David Metcalf announced a historic indictment against a violent drug trafficking organization operating in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. The indictment charges 33 alleged members of the Weymouth Street Drug Trafficking Organization with conspiracy to distribute controlled substances and dozens of related offenses.

U.S. Attorney Metcalf discussed the case alongside FBI Director Kash Patel, FBI Philadelphia Special Agent in Charge Wayne Jacobs, and Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel, and assisting federal and state law enforcement partners.

Camden County Police Department Debuts its New Ice Cream Truck 

The department’s new ice cream truck will make its debut as kids and officers celebrate Halloween with music, candy, bounce houses and more.

Today at 6 p.m. at Morgan Village Middle School, 990 Morgan Blvd, Camden, the Camden County Police Department’s brand-new Metro Ice Cream Truck will make its debut at the Halloween-themed Open Gym event at Morgan Village Middle School.

“The addition of our very own ice cream truck provides our officers with yet another unique opportunity to connect with our residents and their families,” said Chief Gabriel Rodriquez. “This is another example of Unity Policing in action that helps strengthen relationships between the CCPD and the community we serve.”

In addition to the traditional Open Gym activities, including food, music, and basketball, and the Metro Ice Cream Truck, this special Halloween event will feature bounce houses, a costume contest, Halloween treats, and more. 

Cherry Hill Man Arrested for Attempting to Meet with Underage Boy

Cherry Hill, NJ – A Cherry Hill man has been arrested and charged for attempting to meet with an underage boy for a sexual encounter after chatting online, reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Cherry Hill Police Chief John Ostermueller.

Nimrod Lasman, 62, is charged with second-degree Attempted Child Luring and second-degree Attempted Sexual Assault.

On October 27, 2025, Lasman began communicating through a chat application with a person believed to be a 14-year-old boy.  Meanwhile, the person chatting with Lasman was actually an undercover detective from the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crimes Unit.  During the conversation, Lasman arranged to meet the boy in a park for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity.

FBI Philadelphia Announces Large-Scale Operation in Kensington Neighborhood

On October 24, FBI Philadelphia and law enforcement partners executed a large-scale operation against alleged members of a violent drug trafficking organization based in Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood.

“There is no question our streets are safer today because of the tireless dedication and diligence of numerous federal, state, and local partners, but our work is not done,” said Wayne A. Jacobs, special agent in charge of FBI Philadelphia. “The FBI, alongside our law enforcement partners at every level, will continue to serve our citizens by pursuing the dangerous offenders who shatter our communities’ sense of safety, security, and quality of life.”

22 States File Lawsuit against Trump for Stopping Food Aid

A coalition of Democratic state officials sued the Trump administration Tuesday, asking a federal judge to force the release of food assistance funds for 42 million people that the U.S. Department of Agriculture has said cannot be paid during the ongoing government shutdown.

Attorneys general representing 22 states and the District of Columbia and three governors launched the suit days before benefits are expected to be cut off for low-income Americans enrolled in the USDA’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, on Nov. 1.
