Lindenwold, NJ) – Several roadway projects will be underway across Camden County during the week of December 21 to December 26.
“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”
Berlin Township
Crews will be working on Cooper Road on Monday, December 22 and Tuesday, December 23 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Cushman Avenue & Hopewell Road.
Camden
- Crews will be working on Haddon Avenue from Monday, December 22 to Wednesday, December 24 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Newton Avenue & Euclid Avenue.
- Crews will be working on Federal Street and River Avenue on Monday, December 22, Tuesday, December 23, and Friday, December 26 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a lane shift on Federal Street between River Avenue & 16th Street and a full road closure of River Avenue between East State Street & Federal Street.
Winslow Township
Crews will be working on Erial Road on Monday, December 22 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure northbound on Erial Road between Sicklerville Road & Vista Court.
The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway, 50 bridges and several dams. They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
