
Philadelphia, PA – Philadelphia School of Circus Arts is ending 2025 on a high-flying note with Kid’s Day Off Circus Camps for Winter Break Week and a New Year’s Eve Day Circus Workshop and Noon Countdown. Head to the Philadelphia region’s big top for circus fun between Christmas and New Year for two new programs. First, for Winter Break, children are invited to turn those long winter days into high-flying, energy-burning, joy-filled adventures with new Kid’s Day Off Circus Camps – the perfect break-week solution for children in Kindergarten through 7th grade. Camps run from 9:00am to 3:00pm on December 24, 26, 29, 30, 31 and January 2. Kids will spend the day learning circus skills such as aerial sling, static trapeze, wire walking, juggling, plate spinning, rolling globe, tumbling, clowning and more. No prior experience is needed.
On December 31, 2025, from 10:45am to Noon, PSCA will host their first-ever New Year’s Eve Circus Workshop and New Year’s at Noon Grand Finale. Participants ages five to 105 are invited to try their hand at circus arts, from juggling and acrobatics to aerial sling and tightrope walking. Expert instructors will guide everyone through hands-on activities in a safe, encouraging environment – perfect for families, friends, and anyone looking to start the new year with a twist! At Noon, the workshop will reach its grand finale with a high-flying countdown. As the clock strikes twelve, an awe-inspiring group of aerialists will descend dramatically from death-defying heights, marking the start of a breathtaking new year in true circus style. Winter break is coming and parents everywhere are looking for ways to keep kids active, entertained and off their screens while school is out. This year, let the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts (PSCA) turn those long days into high-flying, energy-burning, joy-filled adventures with its Kid’s Day Off Circus Camps – the perfect solution for children in Kindergarten through 7th grade.
Whether you’re juggling work, holiday prep or a house full of visiting family, circus camp gives kids an unforgettable winter-break activity and it’s perfect for out-of-town guests, cousins, and family members looking for a unique Philadelphia experience. Give them a story they’ll be talking about long after winter break ends!
Instead of long hours indoors, your kids (and their visiting cousins!) can spend the day learning circus skills like aerial sling, static trapeze, aerial fabric, wire walking, juggling, plate spinning, rolling globe, tumbling and clowning.
With quiet reading time, group games and plenty of creative play throughout the day, PSCA offers the perfect balance of movement and rest. Kids get to explore, laugh, learn, and make new friends – local or visiting. Snacks are provided, and campers should bring a hearty lunch to fuel all the fun. No prior experience or PSCA enrollment is required – all kids are welcome.
Camps run 9:00am to 3:00pm on Wednesday, December 24, Friday, December 26, Monday, December 29, Tuesday, December 30, Wednesday, December 31 and Friday, January 2. Camp is $95/day, making them an easy, exciting and enriching option for busy families.
