Several roadway projects will be underway across Camden County during the week of February 9 to February 14.
“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”
Berlin Township
Crews will be working on Hopewell Road & Cooper Road from Tuesday, Feb. 10 to Friday, Feb. 13 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a full road closure of Hopewell Road between Cooper Road & Jackson Road in Waterford Township and a full road closure of Cooper Road between Cushman Avenue & Hopewell Road in Berlin Township.
Camden
- PSE&G will be working on Federal Street & River Avenue from Monday, Feb. 9 to Friday, Feb. 13 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a lane shift on Federal Street between River Avenue & 16th Street and a full road closure of River Avenue between East State Street & Federal Street.
- Crews will be working on Haddon Avenue from Monday, Feb. 9 to Friday, Feb. 13 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. There will be a lane shift between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard & Cooper Plaza.
- Crews will be working on Haddon Avenue from Monday, Feb. 9 to Friday, Feb. 13 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Newton Avenue & Euclid Avenue.
Collingswood
- PSE&G will be working on Haddon Avenue on Thursday, Feb. 12 and Friday, Feb. 13 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a full road closure between East Knight Avenue & Harvard Avenue and lane shifts between Harvard Avenue & Washington Avenue.
- Crews will be working on Collings Avenue on Friday, Feb. 13 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a partial road closure northbound between Atlantic Avenue & Haddon Avenue.
Gloucester Township
Crews will be working on Sicklerville Road overnight from Friday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. to Saturday, Feb. 14 at 3 a.m. There will be a full road closure between Bryce’s Court & Berlin Cross Keys Road.
Haddon Heights
Crews will be working on Station Avenue from Monday, Feb. 9 to Wednesday, Feb. 11 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure westbound between White Horse Pike & East Atlantic Avenue.
Haddonfield
PSE&G will be working on Hinchman Avenue on Thursday, Feb. 12 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be partial road closure eastbound between Homestead Avenue & West Euclid Avenue.
Pine Hill
Crews will be working on West Branch Avenue from Monday, Feb. 9 to Friday, Feb. 13 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a partial road closure eastbound between Blackwood-Clementon Road & Erial Road.
Waterford Township
Crews will be working on Hopewell Road & Cooper Road from Tuesday, Feb. 10 to Friday, Feb. 13 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a full road closure of Hopewell Road between Cooper Road & Jackson Road in Waterford Township and a full road closure of Cooper Road between Cushman Avenue & Hopewell Road in Berlin Township.
The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway, over 200 bridges and several dams. They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
