The event returns with the biggest line-up ever, with 20+ participating locations and dozens of $8, $10 and $12 specially priced espresso martinis. Bars and restaurants will compete for bragging rights for categories such as best classic, most creative and best of the day. Look for standards and spins on the classics, plus more out of the box options, ranging to cheese covered, garnish embellished and flavored espresso martinis. The 2026 line-up includes Amina, Bar1010, Bourbon and Branch, Cantina Dos Segundos, El Camino Real, Jerry’s Bar, Newsroom Philly, North 3rd, North Bowl, One Shot Coffee, Ortliebs, SET NoLibs, Silk City, Standard Tap, The 700, Urban Village and Yards Brewing.

“Northern Liberties is excited to host America’s largest Espresso Martini Crawl again this year – with our largest line-up of bars, restaurants and drink selections ever,” said Northern Liberties Business Improvement District Executive Director Sydney Rexroad. “This event was designed to showcase our District’s thriving and expert cocktail and brunch scene – and to kick-off outdoor brunch season in spring with the Espresso Martini Crawl and close out brunch season with our Bloody Mary Crawl in the fall.”
“We timed this to celebrate National Espresso Martini Day that weekend every year, and to coincide with everyone getting back outside for brunch but also St. Patrick’s Day Weekend. Each and every year we have thousands of people visit our District – and not just to raise a glass. This event is one of the biggest days of the year not only for our bars and restaurants, but also many of our retailers. We hope to see everyone out there – and we are manifesting that spring finally arrives just in time for us! Fingers crossed.”
Northern Liberties is one of the fastest growing neighborhoods in Philadelphia right now by the official numbers from the city and state – with thousands of new residents about to move in, around and near the District that is currently experiencing a construction boom. Within the District, the Northern Liberties Restaurant Row has grown to add dozens of new bars, restaurants, shops and service businesses over the last five years. Currently there are more than 10+ new businesses and grand openings in progress or about to happen in coming months.
While the Northern Liberties food scene and restaurants have garnered increased praise and attention, including nods from James Beard Foundation and Michelin, the neighborhood first was known for being the location of America’s first gastropub (Standard Tap) and for its expert beer, cocktail and bar scene. The District now celebrates and brings all this energy and buzz together for the country’s obsession with Espresso Martinis. Northern Liberties has several locations that have gone viral locally and nationally for their variations on the classic.
In honor of National Espresso Martini Day that weekend, and to celebrate the acclaimed Espresso Martinis of Northern Liberties Restaurant Row, the following participants will offer one or more specially priced Espresso Martinis and an espresso/coffee infused exclusive dish for Saturday, March 14th. Some offerings will be the tried and true favorites available on the menus each and every weekend, but many are also new and designed exclusively for this one-day event.
