First-Time Homebuyer Information Session

The Camden County Improvement Authority (CCIA) and the City of Camden are partnering to host a First-Time Homebuyer Information Session on Saturday, March 21 from 9:30 a.m. to noon, at the Salvation Army Kroc Center (1865 Harrison Ave, Camden, NJ). Designed for Camden City residents interested in purchasing their first home, attendees will learn about the many down payment assistance opportunities available through state and city programs, along with guidance on the homebuying process and how to qualify for available funding.

“Buying your first home is an exciting milestone, but it can also be an intimidating process,” said Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli Jr. “This information session will give prospective buyers crucial insight into resources that are available to them at the local and state level. I encourage all Camden City residents who are preparing to buy their first home to attend.”

Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli Jr. and Camden Mayor Victor Carstarphen will provide welcoming remarks. Guest speakers will then provide helpful insights into key steps of the homebuying journey, including the homebuyer program, the mortgage process, working with realtors, and important legal considerations. Whether you’re just starting to explore homeownership or are ready to begin the process, this session will provide valuable information and resources to help you take the next step toward buying your first home in Camden City.
