Whether you want to sip on something refreshing, soak up the Spring energy, or just enjoy some of the best food, beer and local vendors Philly has to offer this is the party to welcome the warmth in style. This is a no charge family and fido friendly event so be sure to bring the whole crew out for the day to enjoy the changing of seasons. Fishtown Block Party under the El season starts this Saturday at Noon. The event boasts tons of happenings for attendees. Guests can enjoy beats from DJ Drini, instagram worthy eats from MooCheeze Food Truck, and fresh brews from Evil Genius’ outdoor beer tent. Guests can also shop from a variety of local vendors including curated shades from Eyerock Sunglasses, Philly sports themed apparel from Cracked Bell, and hand-crafted accessories from Lily Lough Jewelry and Alien Bratz. There’s also something for the little ones with Vamvaki Gifts offering adorable plushies and your four legged friends with Brixxy & Co’s custom dog bandanas. After the past few months of cold, gray days Evil Genius is bringing some much needed cheer to the community with a celebration of the brighter days ahead. “Sprung!” is all about shaking off the winter blues and coming together to embrace the energy and joy of the new season.

HISTORY OF EVIL GENIUS
In 2011, two best friends, Trevor Hayward and Luke Bowen decided to ditch their day jobs and go after their two favorite things, making great beer and even better memories, and Evil Genius Beer Company was born. They quickly became recognized for their witty beer names, often citing fan-favorite movie quotes, hilarious memes, and timeless song lyrics.
