Obituary : Robert C. Knecht, Sr., age 60 of Bellmawr

 

Born: June 17, 1926
Died: November 26, 2015

Robert C. Knecht, Sr., on November 26, 2015, of Bellmawr for 60 years. Age 89.

Beloved husband for 65 years of Barbara (nee O’Malley). Devoted father of Robert C. Knecht, Jr. (Deborah), Michael D. Knecht (Susan), Kathleen J. McCarthy (Timothy), and Steven J. Knecht (Donna). Loving grandfather of 9, great- grandfather of 6, and great-great grandfather of 2. Dear brother of Shirley Cadier and the late William R. Knecht, Jr. and Doris McDonnall. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Robert proudly served in the United States Army and was a member of the Brooklawn American Legion.

There will be a visitation from 8:30 to 9:30am Tuesday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Memorial Mass at St. Joachim Parish, Annunciation BVM Church, Bellmawr.

Inurnment New St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Bellmawr. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Holy Redeemer HomeCare and Hospice, 150 9th Avenue, Runnemede, NJ 08078 or St. Joachim Parish, 601 W. Browning Road, Bellmawr, NJ 08031.
