Connie Francis, the legendary 1950s and 1960s pop vocalist whose hits include \”Who\’s Sorry Now\” and \”Where The Boys Are,\” will appear at the 50th anniversary of \”American Bandstand\” celebration on Thursday at The Enterprise Center —
formerly the studios of WFIL-TV, where \”American Bandstand\” was filmed — at 4548 Market St., Philadelphia, from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m.
Today, Francis, who was born in Newark, spoke with the \”Courier-Post\” about her many appearances on \”American Bandstand\” and its enduring popularity.
Also interview was legendary Philadelphia DJ Jerry Blavat who was one of the regulars on the afternoon show.
