January 10, 2008 at approximately 1:20 hours -A vehicle traveling South on Rt 130 at a high rate of speed left the road and struck a tree at Route 130 and Haakon Road.

The driver was trapped in the vehicle.

Mount Ephraim Fire Department was called to the scene to extricate the victim;, the roof had to be removed to gain access to the victim.

Bellmawr EMS and Underwood Paramedics transported the person to the Cooper Trauma where he was pronounced dead on arrival DOA.

Brooklawn Police and Camden County Prosecutors Office Fatal Accident Team are investigating. Police from Mt Ephraim and Bellmawr were on scene also assisting with traffic. The name of the victim was not released.
