A Marlton man has been awarded nearly $600,000 after suffering injuries in a collision with a dump truck. The truck, owned by Bogey\’s Trucking of Brooklawn, was being driven by an employee, Eugene Glover, at the time of the collision.
Brian Baldwin was driving his pickup truck in Vorhees in 2001 when the incident took place. He claims that the dump truck went through a red light on Route 73, resulting in the collision.
Following the accident, Baldwin suffered pain. He then went to hospital with his injuries, and was given medication in the form of muscle relaxants and painkillers. However, he was later diagnosed by his own doctor with two herniated discs in his neck as a result of the accident.
The man had to go through two years of therapy and manipulation, and eventually the discs were fused and a metal plate and screws had to be inserted. The 38-year-old still has pain and does not have full mobility in his neck.
