CIANFRANI, Jennie (nee Merlino), On March 21, 2009, of Audubon, NJ. Age 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Michael J. Cianfrani. Dear mother of Theodore M. (Elizabeth) of Wildwood Crest, NJ and Jane Cianfrani (Mitch Keating) of Audubon, NJ. Also survived by four grandchildren, Tara, Michael, Ted and Samantha. Sister of Lillian Innatore, Paula McElhone and the late Peter Merlino.

Mrs. Cianfrani was a 1943 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Camden, NJ, former employee of City Hall, Camden, NJ and later J.C. Penney Co., Audubon, NJ. Jennie was devoted to her family and her church.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday 11 AM at the Church of St. Rose of Lima, Kings Highway & 4th Ave., Haddon Heights, NJ. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA. Friends may visit with the family Thursday after 9 AM at the church. Arrangements by the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, Audubon, NJ.

TAYLOR, Mary Lou (nee Goan) age 75 on March 27, 2009 of Barrington. Beloved wife of Frank T. Taylor. Cherished mother of Frank, Jr. (Laura) of Haddon Heights and Marie of Barrington, and adored grandmother of Alexandra \”Allie,\” Matthew and John. She is survived by: a brother, Thomas W. Goan of Cherry Hill, sister-in-law, Nancy of Mt. Laurel, several sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers, Msg. John, Aloysius, and Walter Goan.

Mrs. Taylor was born in Gloucester City and graduated from Gloucester Catholic High School. She worked for RCA in Camden for many years. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, friends and especially her grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to the view-ing Monday from 7-9PM at the EVOY-BANASZ FUNERAL HOME 129, White Horse Pike, Hadd-on Heights. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, 4th Ave. and Kings Highway. Interment New St. Mary\’s Cemetery, Bellmawr. Evelyn T. \”Tip\” Staib, of Mt. Ephraim formerly of Gloucester City, GHS Alumni

STAIB, Evelyn T. \”Tip\” Of Mt. Ephraim, NJ age 90, passed away suddenly on Saturday March 21, 2009. Mrs. Staib was born and raised in Gloucester City, NJ. and was a graduate of Gloucester City High School. She was very active in sports during her high school years and continued with her athletic abilities playing basketball when she worked for RCA in Camden. After leaving RCA, Evelyn became a homemaker and mother raising all 5 of her children in Mt. Ephraim.

Mrs. Staib is the beloved wife of the late Frederick G. Staib; dear mother of Patricia Mayer of Blackwood, NJ, Frederick G. Staib, III and wife Gloria of Collingswood, NJ, Lois Laing and her late husband Rick of Hilton Head Island, SC, Lisa Mary Lou Staib and Eric T. Staib both of Mt. Ephraim; loving grandmother of 8: Dr. Scott Brown and wife Lauren of Mullica Hill, Pam Mayer of Dallas, TX, Matt Staib and Josh Staib both of Georgia, Alexis Staib of Collingswood, Brian Laing and wife Cathleen of Hilton Head Island, SC, Rick Laing of Lake Wilie, SC and Nicole Matik and husband Marc of Wyncote, PA; cherished great grandmother of 3: Halle Staib, Nikolaus Laing and Casey Laing. She is also survived by her 2 sisters: Mona Kotter of Gloucester City and Carol Chain of Mt. Ephraim. Her loss will be felt by a host of loving relatives including her devoted nieces who have been there for her in her time of need.

Funeral services were under the direction of the HENRY FUNERAL HOME, 152 W. Atlantic Ave, Audubon. Interment Locustwood. Memorial Park, Cherry Hill.

Funeral Services Sunday for Amanda L. Stewart of Howell NJ

\"Thumb.php\" Amanda L. Stewart, 23, of Howell, died Thursday, March 26, 2009, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, after a brief illness. Miss Stewart was born in East Stroudsburg, Pa. and had lived in Mt. Pocono before moving to Howell 19 years ago.

She was a visual merchandiser for Macy\’s, Freehold for three years. Miss Stewart was a graduate of The Fashion Institute of Technology, New York, Class of 2006. She graduated from Freehold Township High School, Class of 2004. While in high school, she was a member of the Fashion Club, Choir and Soft Ball Team. She was a former Girl Scout and the recipient of the Gold Award and the Ocean Ski Club. She loved life and was a creative and happy person.

Surviving are her parents, Peter and Kathleen Optiz Stewart of Howell; a brother whom she cherished, Sean Stewart of Howell; her maternal grandparents, Donald M. and Marylou Opitz of Hazlet; her paternal grandparents, James J. and Florence Stewart of Manahawkin; her fiancé and his family, Keith Ludwig and the Ludwig Family of Howell; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her faithful canine companions, Brooke and Gibbs.

Her brother Sean is a pitcher for The College of New Jersey baseball team.

Visiting hours will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 29 at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Veronica Catholic Church, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Amanda may be made to either the Jersey Shore Animal Center, 185 Brick Blvd., Brick, NJ 08723, or to Rescue Ridge, P.O. Box 223, Spring Lake, NJ 07726, and would be appreciated.

GLOUCESTER CITY– Trees can play a large role in the Re-development of Gloucester City.

Having a full canopy of trees in a community has many more impacts then saving money,

and reducing energy costs. Scientific research about trees show that trees can have positive

impacts on the environment and improves the quality of life in communities.

The benefits to having more trees in Gloucester City would provide a wide range of

impacts from increasing property value and making Gloucester City a place where people want

to come to live, visit, eat and shop. Trees would improve Gloucester’s environment and make

our city a healthier place to work and live.
