Mt. Ephraim Proposed School Budget is Too High

This one square mile town is buzzing over the recent proposed School Budget Tax Increase for the 2009-2010 school year.

\"75_pixels\" The Mount Ephraim Board of Education has proposed a tax increase of 33 cents per $100 of assessed value. The average home in the borough is assessed at $98,000. This proposed school budget tax increase would raise taxes anywhere from $323 up to $706 depending on your assessment. The highest home in Mount Ephraim is assessed at $213,800 to a resident on Glover Avenue according to state records available online.
