I am proud to support the Delaware River Port Authority\’s plan to expand rail service through southern New Jersey. At a time when traffic congestion is at its highest, pollution remains problematic, population increases are certain and the options for public transit are scarce, this plan offers the vision for the future.
Just imagine what it would be like to leave your home in Pitman or Glassboro, walk to the nearby train station and travel along a light-rail line to towns such as Woodbury or Woodbury Heights.
Imagine the amount of stress being lifted off your shoulders because, instead of battling frustrating traffic every morning on Routes 42 and 55, you now ride bus rapid transit into Center City Philadelphia. continue to read
