Suddenly, On October 24, 2009. Age 34. Of Audubon. Formerly of Mount Ephraim. Cherished Father of Sarah Maxwell. Loving and devoted Son of Joseph R. and Margaret \”Peggy\” Maxwell, Sr. of Mount Ephraim and Linda Ann and SGM Dennis I. Kretzschmar (nee Powell) of Thackerville, OK. Loving Grandson of Jean and John Russo, William B.and Lillian Powell, Sr., the late Marilyn Powell, the late Paul (surviving Sabina) Maxwell, the late Nina Magnotta and the late Florence Powell, the late Florence Maxwell. Loving brother of Jennifer (Thomas) Monteferrante, Monica Viggiano, Ashley (Shannon) Jeffcoat and Lesley, Colt, D.J. and Hannah Kretzschmar. Also survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Joseph was a 1993 graduate of Audubon High School. He was the General Manager of Potbelly Restaurant in Cherry Hill. Joe excelled at his restaurant career, receiving several awards, including Diamond Club for Darden Restaurants. Outside of work, Joe enjoyed spending time with his many friends and family and special moments with his daughter Sarah.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his viewing on Thursday Evening from 6 to 9 pm and again Friday Morning from 9:30 to 11 am at Holy Maternity R.C. Church: 431 Nicholson Rd., Audubon, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11 in the church.
