Members of the Church of The Ascension on Sussex Street in Gloucester City have welcomed their new pastor, Father Nathan Ferrell.
\”We need to grow in outreach to the community,\” Rev. Ferrell said. \”Most of our parishioners are outside of Gloucester City.\”
In a unique arrangement between the Church of the Holy Spirit, Bellmawr, and St. Luke’s Church, Westville, the three parishes will share Rev. Ferrell as their pastor, and each will pay one-third of his salary.
