For the first time in school history, Rutgers will appear in a bowl game for the fifth-consecutive season as the Scarlet Knights will play in the St. Petersburg Bowl on December 19 against UCF of Conference USA. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. at Tropicana Field.
Mark Jones, Bob Davie and Rob Stone have the call of the St. Petersburg Bowl on ESPN. The game marks Rutgers’ seventh appearance on ESPN or ESPN2 in 2009.
