The resolution passed by a vote of 9-9 yes on February 9th by the city of Paterson.
\”It\’s a great day for Christians in the City of Paterson. The resolution is now before the Freeholders of Passaic County and is expected to pass later this month, it is also before the New Jersey Assembly and the Senate. Now we can celebrate who we are as Christians and fill that gap between Easter and Christmas, we can learn that among Christians there are no barriers and we are all brothers and sisters to one another, we can also reach out to other cultures for peace, without compromising who we are. The Muslims celebrate, the Jews celebrate and are recognized by the government, now we get to celebrate and be recognized\” said the author Keith Sirrano Baldeo.
