Roger was a U.S. Navy Korean War Veteran, receiving a purple heart. Life member of the Brooklawn Vol. Fire Department, member of the On February 7, 2010. Age 78. Of null. Loving husband of 47 years to Shirley E. (nee Irwin) Loving father of George (Joyce) Harrum, Joan (late Thomas) Cuomo, John (Ani) Harrum, Judy Harrum and Nancy (Paul) Shrader. Loving grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of 10. Dear brother of Carol Utts.

Born in Springfield, IL, Roger and his family have resided in Brooklawn for the past 45 years. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was a recipient of a Purple Heart. Roger was a life member of Brooklawn Volunteer Fire Department. Prior to retirement, Roger worked 25 years as an Orthopedic Technician at Underwood Hospital in Woodbury. He was a member of Brooklawn American Legion Post 72.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his viewing on Saturday morning from 10 am to 12 noon at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Methodist funeral service officiated by Pastor Gary Brennan will begin at 12 noon in the funeral home. Military honors to follow in the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
