Former Williamstown tennis great set to enter HOF

Pileggi will be inducted into the Gloucester County Hall of Fame along with 14 other members on Tuesday night.A standout in the late 1980s, Pileggi dominated on the court at Williamstown High School. She brought her career to both Seton Hall from 1989-90 and then transferred and finished at The College of New Jersey (then Trenton State) from 1991-93. While at Williamstown, Pileggi compiled a remarkable 135-5 record, winning the Gloucester County Times Girls Tennis Tournament four times, believed to be the only girl to accomplish that feat, and was also a South Jersey Coaches champion while finishing in the top three all four years.
