One Gun a Month Litigation Update

Just one day after being sworn in, the newly appointed state Attorney General took the most aggressive legal posture available to defend former Governor Corzine\’s one-gun-a-month handgun rationing law, moving to dismiss ANJRPC\’s lawsuit to overturn the law, and later vigorously opposing ANJRPC\’s motion for a preliminary injunction in the case. The U.S. District Court could hear argument on these motions as soon as April.

We\’ve had an open line of communication.\” The FBI has neither confirmed nor denied an investigation.Mancini was expelled from New Sharon last month after its membership voted him out for breach of trust and misappropriation of funds.

$12 million consumer settlement with LifeLock over \”ID Theft Protection\” claims

HARRISBURG – Pennsylvania, along with 34 other states, has reached a $12 million settlement with LifeLock Inc, an Arizona-based company accused of making confusing or misleading statements in the advertisement and promotion of its identity theft protection services.

\”Identity theft is a major subject of concern and consumers deserve clear and accurate information before they spend their hard-earned money on so-called protection services,\” Attorney General Tom Corbett said. \”There is no place for exaggerated claims, ambiguous statements or unsubstantiated claims when discussing this extremely serious consumer issue.\”

I had met this young man in the summer. He walked up with his mother. As she introduced him, I thought \”Wow, what a young man.\” He was so sweet and innocent, somewhat bashful but tried to come off as sure of himself. You could see he was just beaming about how he looked, but not sure of himself in any way.
